Our Shared Decision-Making® approach helps your clients’ employees and their dependents work more effectively with physicians to manage their overall healthcare needs. Health Coaches establish a relationship of trust with employees and their families, incorporating each person’s individual characteristics and motivation level to better serve his or her needs. We present unbiased, evidence-based information and support to help individuals handle a vast range of medical issues, such as managing a chronic disease, deciding among different treatment options, finding the best way to care for an injury, and more. Your clients’ employees develop the skills they need to better manage their conditions and make informed decisions for their healthcare needs.

We realize the connection an employer has with its employees, and use this relationship to help further promote appropriate use of the program. Onsite occupational health staff or management can help educate employees about Health Dialog’s tools and resources, enabling Health Dialog to engage more individuals who can benefit from a Health Coaching intervention.
